LATTE ART CLASS

Students will learn the science behind steaming milk to achieve the proper latte texture and temperature, and how to pour latte art using what's called a "free pour" technique, which does not use tools or stencils and instead focuses on the espresso, milk, and the barista’s technique.

BARISTA WORKSHOP

This course covers the theory and the skills to produce perfectly extracted shots. Students will learn how to safely and successfully operate an espresso machine and grinder, dial in a shot of espresso, and clean and maintain the equipment. They will have the chance to work on the same equipment that we use in our busy cafes.
